How old do you have to be to purchase vape products?
As of July 1st, 2019, State law says that you must be 21 years old to purchase vapor products in Virginia. The only exception to this law is for active duty military members who are 18 or older.
If I am under 21, but over 18, can my friend/family member buy for me?
No. This is considered a “straw purchase” and is illegal. It is for this reason that shop policy states you MUST be 21 years old to be in the store at all.
Is vaping safe?
Unfortunately, federal restrictions prohibit us from making any health claims about vaping. However, there are plenty of informational articles and studies online about this topic that you can read into as a consumer!
What type of “vape” should I buy?
This is a very individualized answer. Vaping is not “one size fits most”. When you visit Voltage Vapin’ for the first time, we will ask you a few questions and set you up to test different devices to find the perfect device, flavor, and nicotine strength for you!
Should I start vaping?
If you are an adult smoker looking for an alternative to traditional combustible tobacco, then ABSOLUTELY! If you don’t use nicotine in any form than we do not suggest you start using nicotine vapor products.
Do I need to clean my mod/tank?
Basic maintenance is a good habit to get into. When changing coils, it is a good idea to rinse your tank with warm water and dry it completely before installing a new coil. It is also advisable to wipe your mod of any excess condensation or liquid often so that you do not damage the internal electronics of the device. If you are ever unsure if your device needs maintenance, feel free to bring it in and let us take a look at it!
What are the ingredients in nicotine e-liquid?
Nicotine e-liquid has 4 basic ingredients: Propylene Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerin (VG), Nicotine, and natural/artificial food flavorings. All ingredients used in e-liquids are FDA approved and food grade. Voltage Vapin’ has all GCC compliance forms from all e-liquid manufacturers that we carry.
Why don’t you carry products/liquid from _____ company? Can you special order for me?
There are tons of fantastic products and e-liquids out there. So many that it would be near impossible to run our business if we carried them all. We are always open to suggestions from our customers and we do what we can to accommodate if and when possible. At this time, we are only able to special order products that we have carried in the past as they are already in our system. Our process for bringing in a brand new product does not make it possible to do so for one individual. We will certainly do our best in finding you an equally amazing product or e-liquid flavor if we don’t have the specific one you are looking for!
You don’t seem to have as many e-liquid flavors as other places. Why is that?
We have over 60 different PREMIUM e-liquid flavors to choose from. That’s a lot of choices! While we understand other shops seem to carry every line and flavor under the sun, we do things a little differently at Voltage Vapin’. Every e-liquid we carry has been tested by our staff (6-8 individuals) and rated on a 1-10 scale. If a liquid doesn’t average a high enough score, it doesn’t come in. We do this because we feel this provides our customers with only the best options for e-liquids. We know that some may slip through the cracks but we’ve been at this a long time and are confident that this gives our customers a quality selection.
